  • You can have multiple> stand-alone versions of IE on your machine without having to hack the registry, contrary to popular opinion.  Just download the IE 5.01 SP2 [ Exit  KY ] and IE 5.5 SP2 [Logo for the Kentucky.gov External Link Disclaimer] zip files, then unzip them into separate directories on your computer.  Navigate to the folders where these files were and run the IEXPLORE.EXE file.  Caution! Do not use the Bookmarks, as this may make the browser crash.
